Suffolk Coastal Petanque League Visit

A squad from the Suffolk Coastal Pétanque  League will be visiting Nottingham City PC on Saturday, 18th June for a challenge match. Steve Harrington made contact with Simon Fletcher, the organiser for the league when he and Di were visiting Suffolk last year and watched the final of one of SCPL’s competitions. Steve is delighted that Simon will be bringing a squad of Suffolk  coastal league players to Nottingham and is looking forward to a great day of friendly competition.  It is Steve’s intention to invite players from some of the Mercia region’s clubs to participate in this event.

The Suffolk Coastal Petanque Alliance incorporating the Adnams Coastal Petanque League has approximately 45 teams due to play in 2016 with the majority playing at pubs on Sunday mornings and finishing in time for a social drink together at lunchtime.

Please note: There is no Euro 2016 England football match on this day.
