Regional Singles & Shooting Competitions

Competition Entry Reminder

The Mercia regional singles & shooting competitions will be played at Mansfield PC on Sunday the 8th April. To enter you will need to have an EPA licence that is registered in the Mercia region.
Please note: The winner of the regional shooting competition will represent the Mercia region at the inter regional finals at Hayling Island in September.

The closing date for entry to both competitions has changed and is now Tuesday 3rd April.

Mercia Singles Championship

Carl Shepardson  (Champion)

The Mercia Singles Championship was held for the first time on Sunday 28th August.  This year the venue was Nottingham City PC and thankfully the weather was kind.

 

Although the entry list wasn’t large the games were closely contested with Carl Shepardson the eventual winner with 6 wins from 6 played and +13. Well done Carl.

 

Coming second was Steve Harrington with 5 from 6 but +34.

In third was Diane Smith with 4 from 6 and +9. Di was the top lady player.
